Press Release Guidelines

When putting together a press release for an exhibit at the Gallery, there are certain pieces of information that should be included in each article. The Guild asks that the following be included in all such writings:

• Date & time of the event (artist's reception, exhibit dates, event date, etc)
• Gallery hours of operation
• Gallery location (address and general description)
• LVAG/GOH mission blurb (see below). Please include this as the LAST paragraph in your article.

Example reception paragraph:

A meet-and-greet reception will be held on Friday, May 3rd, from 5-8pm with an open house on Saturday, May 4th, from 10am-2pm. The Gallery on High is located at 5 & 7 E. High St, between McDonald's and the Courthouse in London. Hours are Thursday 10am-2pm, Friday, 5-8pm, Saturday 10am-2pm, and Sunday 11am-2pm.

London Visual Arts Guild is a non-profit, 501(c)3 charitable artists' organization with the mission of promoting art and art education in London and the surrounding areas. The Gallery on High is managed by the members of LVAG and serves as the "home base" for all the Guild's activities.
